Success Story: Kristy Rud

image3image2I am 5’3" and small structured. I had two babies back-to-back, and gained almost 60 pounds between both of them. Gaining this amount of weight not only was extremely unhealthy, but extremely hard on my confidence. It was a constant awareness of my body and how it moved at 150 pounds. I felt so insecure and, like many, I tried the old gym routine, dieted and took supplements. I thought would “shrink my stomach” back to normal, but nothing was working.

IMAG0476I met Jason during a boot-camp class, and I lost 11 pounds in six weeks. My body began taking shape, and I was feeling better already.

In all honestly, I was terrified to personal train. For some reason, I was embarrassed to have to do it. But, I went with a friend to try it out and, man, what a life changing experience!

After only five months at the age of 35, I weighed in at 109. The number wasn't as important to me as how I felt.


IMAG0182It was the best shape I had ever been in in my LIFE, and I felt on top of the world. For me, these personal training sessions were obviously a good workout, but more than anything, they were a personal challenge, physically and mentally...each and every one of them. My success with personal training started spilling into my daily life, and I really cannot express to Jason how thankful I am for all his encouragement and belief in me. I truly don’t think I could have done it without him.
