I stumbled into Bodies by Burgoon as part of a group training session for Girls on the Run and it completely took hold of me. After that session I knew I needed to be a part of this amazing community. The knowledge, drive, and excitement I’ve found with the trainers here is incredible. In addition to training with Jason, Aldon, and Brianna, I began weight lifting on my own to build strength, indoor cycling to build my endurance, and practicing yoga to regain my flexibility. I found yoga particularly effective to balance a stressful pre-med student life, as I learned to cherish time for healing and reflection among my busy schedule.
Overall, Bodies by Burgoon taught me to have variety in my exercise routine, which has decreased my injuries and filled my life with positivity, great health, and strength of mind and body.
In the Spring of 2015 I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a major in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development. I am certified in yoga and cycling. I am passionate about health in all respects: medical, physical, emotional, and mental. I am very excited to support others as they transform their own lives through fitness.
