Getting Started
-
Book your FREE consultation and filling out our intake form here. We will contact you within the same business day to schedule it. That’s it!
During your consultation, we'll talk about your goals, your experience level, and build a plan that works for you. After your consultation, you'll get details on how to register, purchase session packs, and schedule your first training session!
-
During the consultation, you'll meet with Jason, our lead trainer, so he can understand your goals and give you a good feel for the environment here. He'll arm you with several tools for success. You may do some light movements so he can assess your form, so plan to wear your workout clothes (we do have bathrooms with showers, if you need them).
-
Not at all. You don't need any prior fitness experience or be a certain fitness level to train here. We build programs around your current abilities and help you progress from there.
-
Your trainer will meet you, walk you through a warm-up, and then guide you through a workout built just for you. They'll coach every movement, adjust based on how you're moving, and make sure you feel comfortable. Most people train in socks or bring clean indoor-only shoes. Wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring water — we provide everything else.
-
There are always plenty of free parking spots available in our back lot. Our address is 1620 Northeast Central Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55413. We're in the Northeast Arts District in the Thorp Building.
We can be a bit tricky to find at first, so here’s a helpful map that outlines exactly where we are located.
training & programs
-
In Semi-Private, you work on your own personalized program while training alongside 4-6 others. The trainer will make their rounds and coach each person individually throughout the 60-minute session.
In 1:1 Personal Training, you have the trainers’s full attention for the entire session. Both are highly personalized — it just depends on whether you prefer the energy of a group or the focus of solo training. -
Everyone is different, but a good starting point is two sessions per week. From there, many people move to three as they build momentum. We'll figure out what works best for your goals and your schedule when we meet.
-
Yes. Our trainers have experience working with clients rehabbing injuries, managing chronic conditions, and navigating physical limitations. We'll build a plan that works safely for your body. For more complex medical situations, we'll also coordinate with your healthcare provider.
-
Most sessions are 45 - 60 minutes, depending on the program.

Pricing starts at $55 per session, with discounts for larger packages. During your free consultation, we'll walk through the options together and figure out what makes the most sense for you.

the gym & environment
-
Not at all. We carefully schedule sessions so the gym never feels packed. Semi-private sessions max out at 4 people, and 1:1 training is just you and your trainer. It's an intimate space designed for focused work — you'll never fight for equipment or navigate a crowd.
-
We have everything you need for strength training: dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, cables, benches, rowers, resistance bands, and more. All professional-grade equipment — no gimmicks, no unnecessary machines.
-
No outdoor shoes on the gym floor. Plan to bring a clean pair of shoes to workout in or plan to workout in socks.
We also keep politics and religion off the gym floor. When you walk in, you get to leave all that noise outside. This is a space where you're just a person working on getting stronger alongside other people doing the same. No debates, no judgment, no tension.
-
Yes! Our gym security — Puck (French Bulldog, full-time) is usually around on his dog bed either sleeping waiting for pets. He’s friendly. If you have allergies or prefer not to be around dogs, just let us know and we'll make accommodations.
